I echo Liz's comments. I used to love this club until the new management took over. I am new considering joining X-Sport or LA Fitness. There has been an incredible amount of turn over in staff in the last few months and it sames that most of the staff of color have disappeared from the roster. This is disturbing to me. I also have found the service levels to be declining. This is disappointing to me.

I used to love this club... Then the management changed and employees began to disappear. The gym is a great location. It's clean-- but I always feel guilty entering because the staff members are treated poorly.. some with more extreme levels of disrespect than others. I'd hate to see more familiar faces disappear.

South loop is like my home away from home. Its the most nonpretenious gym that I have ever expereienced. The staff are friendly, and motivating. I'm thinking about moving, and honestly south loop FFC is one of the things that I will have the hardest time replacing.

When it comes to health clubs, I have experienced both ends of the spectrum: from luxury service with huge fees to match at the East Bank Club, to my $8 per month Bally's membership which apparently wasn't enough for working soap dispensers or decent bath towels. I am delighted to say that this is more than the happy medium. It is a clean facility with the latest equipment, free classes, comfortable locker rooms (with towels that are bigger than a wash cloth Thank God!), free personal fitness evalution, a nice little juice bar, and, did I mention, free 2 hour parking (HUGE!)... For the price, this club is the best bang for the buck. Great Job FFC!

I recently traveled to Chicago on business and after finding out that the Chicago Hilton charged $13/day (to guests) to use the fitness room I looked aound and was able to get exchange privledges at FitPlex.
I loved it. Beautiful facilities. I took several classes, including spinning, pilates and and a weight/step class and all were very good. Friendly instructors.
The only thing I wish they had were wipes to clean the cardio machines - which looked very well maintained, but I like to clean my sweat off the machines when I am done (and like other people to do so too!!)

This is BEST club in the city!!! I've belonged to Crunch, Holmes Place (Streeterville), and even the Union Station Multiplex sister club to this club - and this by far, is the best bang for your buck! I have all the amenities I want and am not paying for those that I'll never use. The staff is friendly and equipment is state of the art. I love it!!

This is an excellent gym! I actually am motivated to GO to the gym. The equipment is brand new, friendly trainers, small classes. They have some cutting-edge things (computer program will update your free weight chart for you/create individualized workout). It's reasonably priced, super-super clean, never crowded!

Great club with a fantastic fitness staff. Everyone is very friendly and my trainer is the best! Prices are good for the city, but the results are amazing!

Great location, great club, and the pricing is actually pretty fair!! Free parking is a huge perk. I've been waiting months for this place to open and it was well worth the wait! Awesome club!!
