I do not recommend this store at all!!! I bough some meat there and I found a hair inside it!!! unbelievable! I use to buy a lot of stuff there.. but not anymore! STAY AWAY

Kurowski is celestial, a real heaven, the tendency of many people to jump the queue is something that I do not like, but who can complain about such a paradise, open from 6 to 10 p.m.

Not only are the prices super low (as they should be because these are the same prices you would pay in Poland for sausages etc), but the flavor is outstanding and tastes as if you already in Poland. Gourmet food shops overcharge for many things including the same Polish sausages etc and it still does not taste fresh.

The best Kielbasa in Chicago. Try the Kurowski Ham, it is delicious!!!

The Kabanosy sausage at Kurowski's is to DIE for! I make a trip in from the suburbs a couple times a year to load up on a few pounds (which freeze VERY well and are an excellent addition to omelettes, by the way), but no matter how much I get it's NEVER enough! Try the Polish rye bread (with fennel seeds) as a treat on the side... you're sure to come back for more!
