The finest of hospitality from the beginning. A manager, Dave Johnson made sure our visit surpassed our expectations. Tapas selections were out of this world and we can hardly wait for our next visit !

We have been coming here for years, first my wife and I, and more recently with our daughters too. They have THE BEST FOOD EVER! Consistently terrific. Beef with horseradish, spicy potatoes, steak with blue cheese, ..., are so good! And the banana dessert or the mango one, wonderful.

VERY Dissappointed. This place is not what it used to be 10 years ago. Menu has been shortened. Tapas not as special. Most were too salty. Mussels were not fresh -- even served us a couple of closed ones (where is quality control?). Sangria is overpriced, and overiced; tastes like coolaid. If you're going to have to wait long anyway, then you might as well go to Cafe Iberico for Tapas -- better value, better choices, better taste.

I was disappointed with our experience. We put in our name at 6 PM and sat for a long time. They kept telling us they had "just" called our name, we missed it, and we'd been bumped to the bottom of the list. They told us then it would be "a few minutes" and half an hour went by. We asked again, and got the same story. Finally we pointed out that this had happened TWICE to us, and we had been waiting for well over an hour and a half. We were finally seated at 8. The waiter was not very good at serving us; he didn't come around to refill drinks and was slow bringing the dessert menu and check. The tapas weren't all that great; Emilio's in Wheaton is better by far. The desserts were excellent, though! Overall, I was disappointed with the service. It was also loud, and there was lots of cigarette smoke, but I suppose that contributes to a more authentic European experience!

I have been coming here for a year now and I highly recommend it! Make a reservation- it gets crazy on the weekends- and they will get you right in. The food and sangria are one of a kind. Remember dessert, too!

AWESOME tapas and good variety too, however they recently raised their prices. Sangria is really good as well--especially the passion fruit. Service is OK and somewhat inconsistent. Nice atmosphere but can be loud and crowded on weekends. If lincoln park trixies annoy you---don't go there---it is their haven.

Don't try the Lobster Paella....smells like Lake Michigan, tastes even worse. Service is average at best. It smelled like there was backed-up sewage last week. Way over priced. Trendy, if you like that.

I had never had tapas before and I really didn't know what to expect. I ended up absolutely LOVING each and every dish that I sampled. The Sangria is good, but I have had better. I would definately recommend this restaurant.
The wait staff is kinda lame though :(

Food was the bomb, apps rocked, and our server Kevin (Irish looking kid with goofy crooked glasses) made our night. Long live tapas and long live Kev.
Rock it,
Justin
