I ordered the rip/hot links combo. Did not enjoy the meal, ribs are tough and dry and not enough fries. And the people behind the counter are rude. Will not be back

I saw the piece on WTTW last week on Honey!BBQ. Since I had given up on good bar b que in the Chicago area unless I had the time to go to Lems I decided to give this place a try. I went to the one on Western Avenue. The ribs were meaty and you definitely got the smoked taste. There were few french fries given with the order. The links were tasty. The rib tips were ok. They were very tight with the amount of sauce which was on the meat. If I go back I will spend for extra sauce. I guess I will go back to eating ribs when I have time to go to Lems. I really miss Farmer Browns that was the best BBQ Chicago has had to offer. Plus Farmer Brown's gave potato salad with the ribs and always gave plenty of sauce.

I tried this place on a Saturday during the early afternoon, my girlfriend and i were the only people in there and it took 20 minutes to get two pulled pork sandwiches. At 8 dollars per sandwich i was wanting more than, 5 fries, i counted! 5 frenchfries. they didn't even plate it right, they put 5 fries on top of the tiny soggy sandwich then wrapped it up and placed it inside a plastic basket is this what took 20 minutes to do? for the same money i could have gone anywhere and had a good filling meal for less money.

Honey 1 is the real deal, they serve meaty ribs cooked low and slow. Smoky and delectable indeed...try it for yourself. Certain whiny internet trolls seem to have nothing better to do...Polluting, are you kidding me? The smoke smells wonderful.

Please do NOT order from this business. They are breaking the law and are polluting our neighborhood. Wood smoke has sent many of our neighbors to the hospital and is making it impossible to be outdoors in our area. We want businesses in Chicago who can respect others and be good neighbors, not ones who break the law in the name of profit.

Overpriced; mediocre ribs (don't even offer babyback, only Spare). Not Recommended.
