Me, my boyfriend and a lot of our friends used to go there every week since last Saturday. We order a Johny Walker black label like every time but last week they served us something between poison and shit. It was disgusting. I've had some fake alcohol before but this was amazing. Not even close to a scotch taste. We will never go there and I will tell ANYBODY which I know. I already told about 30 people and post this in 10 web sites and I will post it in every site witch contains the name Enclave. I'll do anything possible to send a kind of inspection there. I can wait to get in somewhere but I will not anybody try to poison me with that cheap kind of alcohol.

the club itself isn't a bad joint.too bad for the fatass named 'tony' working the front door.this guy thinks he so tough working the door at a night club.this 30something year old fatsh*t needs to get a real job and stop taking pride in having underage girls kiss his as* so they could get it.my buddy and i,along with two other girls waited over one hour to get in,he kept ignoring us and giving us hardlooks.when we asked him how long it was going to be since it was pretty cold and windy that night, there he was with a long coat(so he could cover some of his 40percent body fat) and the same kongol hat he has been wearing for the past year or so(so he could cover is baldspot and receding hairline),he responded 'ask me one more time and it will be another hour'..whoa,relax there fatsh+t.did you miss a meal or something?it isn't a bad club, too bad you have people like Tony, who take glory in checking ppls ids that are half his age,and 2/3 his weight.next time you decide to go to enclave,be prepared to drop him atleast 60dollars a person to cut the line.more importantly, remember to drop him a Slimfast can along with some Rogaine, this might save you the additional 20 dollars you have to pay to get in..

(Note: I noticed many negative reviews on line after I got back from my unfortunate experience with this place. Which should be a big hint to readers here). I signed up for the free RSVP guest list. I thought that the website may have had a problem, since I hit submit several times, but didn't receive an e-mail confirmation. Nevertheless, I took the time to invite several well dressed ladies. We got there before 11 p.m. They couldn't find my name on the guest list. I thought that perhaps since I took the trouble of getting others involved the guy at the door would comp me. Instead he asked me to pay $20 each ($100 for all of us) or or buy a $45 drink package for each. I asked that perhaps he could "cut me some slack" and let us in, since it was obviously a technical issue with the web site. Instead, he chose to embarrass me in front of my guests. We left.

I got to go as a conventioner, therefore I didn't have to pay for entrance, drinks, or food. So no expectations or disappointments. The music was a lot of fun and varied in style. The food and drinks were good. I can understand some opinions of staff being rude. They were not in any way friendly or social. Not a smile cracked on anyone of those faces, and I mean no one, not the bartenders, servers, cleaners, BR attendant, bouncers, or mgmnt type person. Even after commending them on their hard work, giving a tip, or saying a meaningful thank you with a smile for a good evening did I not get a positive response, at the most I got a mumbled 'your welcome' on the way out, but no eye contact. These people seem miserable, but you can't let that get in your way if you want to have a good time. Now, I certainly would not have paid a cover of $40-45 for an evening served by an apathetic team and the place is really not that big.The dance floor was quaint. Coming from the club scene of Tampa and Orlando, an area of tremendous hospitality, this place did leave some niceness to be desired.

Even if you're on a guest list they will pick whoever goes in. On the night of March 29th, I told them I was on the guest list so I got in. A few minutes later my friends arrived as I was waiting inside the doors I call up one of my friends to ask him what the hold up is and why they are'nt in yet they're on the guest list?! Well that was it they were told it was still too packed to let anybody in and I was inside and there were hardly anybody in there. Everybody was mostly standing around talking or drinking not even dancing yet! This made me leave mad! I will never go back again!

While waiting over 45 minutes in line on a freezing cold night, the bouncers proceeded to let every white person in the door while our group of 12 waited. Disgusting that this place is still open. i recommend going to 720 or P.S. Chicago where the staff is amazing and accommodating.

My friends and I spent New Years Eve at Enclave and will definitely not go back. We stood in ice water while waiting to get in because the sidewalks were not shoveled. When we were finally inside, no staff was around to direct us to check our coats. The music was fine and if weren't for the group of friends I was with and the open bar, I would have had a horrible time. The night ended abruptly and the staff was literally yelling at the patrons to leave. The entrance to the coat check area was different at the end of the night than the beginning of the night. A mob of intoxicated people quickly formed in the confusion with everyone rushing to get their coats and the bouncers did nothing to help organize the situation. The coat check lost my umbrella and was just as “helpful” as the rest of staff. The staff was a complete let down, and when I asked for a manager, naturally, one could not be found. Any bar can pay for a celebrity to show up, hence the website pictures. This was the most poorly run place I have ever been to. I will never be back and would not recommend it, even to an enemy.

Wow all i gotta say is that the wanna-be tough guy bouncers are gonna get their asses kicked one day.. They need to realize that Enclave is not the only club in Chicago and they will lose customers if they disrespect them. Its an average club that I will definately not go to again.

I really don't understand why this place is still around?! It has some of the rudest staff I have ever encountered, the people that go there are duchebags and they expect you to pay $40 to get in. I understand that security guys are usually mean on purpose to try and make the club seen exclusive, but come on! Never going there again and I don't recommend you do either.
