Delicious spring rolls and yummy sushi... and we've always gotten a table right away, even on the weekends. There's also a parking lot, which is insane (and good!) for that part of town. A hilarious note: every time my boy and I have been there they've played Massive Attack's Protection album, without fail. Start to finish. Every. Single. Time.

When faced with the busy division area food choices, I can't seem to veer away from Usagi Ya. The parking lot next door beats finding a space on the street in this weather any day. The atmosphere is laid back and refreshing- you can actually hear and hold a conversation. The service is polite and fast. Best of all, though, the food is delicious and versitile! I took my afraid-of-sushi-boyfriend to usagi Ya and while I enjoyed fresh raw fish, he found an array of selections off the pan asian menu. The sushi looked so good, however, that he even asked for a bite of my summer roll- and loved it! He's not a full on sushi-eater yet, but with a few more trips to Usagi Ya, I think we'll have a bonafide convert.

I happened to go here with a few friends one evening, and now I find myself craving the food. Great atmosphere, wonderful service. I had their miso soup and a great yakisoba. Both served fresh and hot off the stove, and my friends enjoyed the same service as well. We were never at any time looking for our server, nor was she constantly at our elbows. An all around great place to eat, with clean environs. Parking next to the restaurant is a boon!

Hot Decor, nice selection, decent pricing, a true Lychee Martini and Sake varietal, and the people that own/run it are hardworking and kind (always a plus). They have 2 great somewhat-private Japanese booths in the windows (great for celebrations or business).... oh and did I mention they have parking. Definately a garnish to the city.

Best sushi in Chicago! Fresh, generously portioned sushi and sashimi. Flavorful miso soup (a real litmus test).Warm welcoming service. Beautiful space. Great lunch deals. This is the best Japanese restaurant I've found in Chicago.
