An excellent place in the middle of a crappy part of town. Although Uptown is changing it's still in an area that I wouldn't let my girlfriend roam around at night in....Just a note it's next door to The Green Door the historic Jazz club once owned by Al Capone. This is a most excellent Borders in that it has more than most I've seen.....I think it's because Uptown is on a surge and a couple of years away from being a Lakeview/Lincoln Park like area. Borders is awesome, very clean and friendly....neighborhood questionable after dark.
