Green Tea is my latest find in the BYOB circuit. Most sushi places that are BYOB either offer small pieces of sushi with too much rice (Sushi Para II) OR have their prices jacked up to account for the lack of alcohol sales (Coast).
Green Tea is a freshening change. First...it's tiny, probably the smallest restaurant I've ever been in, but still quaint and welcoming. The staff was friendly and the sushi was phenominal! Also, the prices are the BEST prices I've have for sushi in Chicago ever, without compromising quality at all. Attention to detail on the presentation was very good and they brought our food out in psuedo-courses so we were neither overwelmed nor outted for the gluttons that we were...
All in all, this is a hidden gem sitting right on Clark street in the heart of Lincoln Park. Look for me when you go... I may just become a regular.

Fresh, Fresh, Fresh. Is there a better compliment for a Sushi Restaurant. Oh, also nice sized portions, wonderful and innovative Maki Rolls, and very reasonably priced. Service is superb, with the multiple expert Sushi Chefs (usually at least 3) serving the small (read quaint and comfortable) restaurant of only 7-8 tables. And, they are always friendly and helpful. Best of all it's BYOB.

What a terrific little place!! Very friendly proprietors, and terrific sushi. Great for those in the neighborhood, and worth the trip for those a bit farther away.
