One of the worst restaurant's my family and I have ever been to. The service was so bad, we actually started to laugh that this has to be a joke. Waiter and bus boy get into verbal argument over food sent to our table. We ordered soup it never came. but it sure showed up on the bill. One of the waiters trip and spilled plates which broke all by our table and actually getting food on the back of husband's sport coat without the waiter or the owner coming over and apolozing. We would never recommend this place. Go around the corner to Costa's. Better food and Better service.

I was there on Saturday night with some friends and we had the best time. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. The host was very pleasant and took the time to my guests the difference between the Greek and Cypriot cuisine. Our waiter was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the menu and has a very good recommendation on the wine. We had a few appetizers like Grilled Octopus, talatouri (like tzatziki) and koupepia (stuffed vineleaves). Our main course was excellent. We tried to taste all flavors so we ordered lamb chops, steak, fish and a traditional Cypriot dish called "Kleftiko". OH MY!!! The portions were great and the taste was incredible... To top all these, they had live music that night (our host told us that there is live greek music and dancing every Friday and Saturday night). The band was great and kept us dancing until 3:00 am. I would recommend this great restaurant to everyone who lives in or visits Chicago. It is a opinion-changing experience when it comes to Greek-Cypriot cuisine.

I had the best time today at Venus. I tasted a variety of foods, starting with their appetizers. Taramosalata was deliciously light and I really enjoyed the steak. It was just done the right way! I was impressed with the environment and they also offer quality service. What more can you ask for!

I had the best three hours welcoming the New Year with and at Venus. The food (fish/steak), wine, music and service were off any ratings chart and my friends and I cannot wait to schedule another trip there when the full menu is available. When the soup, salad, and even the bread seem exceptional right off, one is at the right place.
