Good food, good service and exceptional circuses. Where else can you see Ronnie Woo Woo, the National Guard and gay volleyball teams all coexisting peacefully? This is sort of place where they learn your name, how you like your eggs etc., so you can walk in and tell Mabel or Vicky "I'll have the usual" and it will be prepared to perfection. A little bit of Mayberry in the heart of Edgewater.

The service is always fast and the staff is so pleasant you almost forget you are in Chicago. The chicken soup is good. The only think I didn't care for was the biscuits and gravy. But the other 5 times I've been there it's been great.

This place is great, it's cheap and friendly and the food is quite good.
The only thing that really sucks is the hours: 6am to 4pm. I pass this place on the way home from work and school in the evening and wish it was still open at least three times a week.
