This place is the typical chicago wannabe LA or NY crap.

I like the bouncers with the earpieces pretending like they are in the secret service.

Go to a normal bar hang out. save some money. forget the trash at this place.

Last night we were made to stand in line (we were at the very front) for over 20 minutes as the bouncers let over 20 of their "friends" in. We asked them about this and we told that these people were on "the list". Yet, the clipboard that contained "the list" never seemed to get checked as all these people cut the line. We also asked them about this and the bouncers were basically dicks about it. Based on the last time I was there, this place is worth waiting 5-10 minutes in line for, MAX. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else after wasting a total of 35 minutes in line (I would have left much earlier if it wasn't for the rest of my crew). Does this experience sound like fun? Head town to Elm St. Liquors.

Elm street has emerged as one the most unique and hip spot to hang out in the Gold Coast. Amongst the usual spots and typical rush and divion crowd you will find bar-lounge that is one a kind. The unique L shape lay out, Moon roof ceiling comfy Leather chairs, Plazma Tvs and blue lighting with hanging ceiling make for a even hotter spot to party. the crowd is very beautiful (especially the females) and the staff makes you feel at home. The music is hands down some of the best music if not the best you will hear within a six block radius of the rush and division area. Resident Dj's Nigel O'reilly spins the best house music available while Dj Groove close the night out with the hottest and latest hip hop, reggae and r&b. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good music, unique evironment, beautiful people and not your typical division street crowd to visit elm street liquors.
