This is my favorite Chinatown restaurant. Over the past...ummm...lots of years...Three Happiness has been the restaurant I crave. I try the others for a little pizazz and variety, but when I HAVE to have Chinese food, I go to Three Happiness. As mentioned, the decor is nothing special, but I would eat the food sitting on a subway bench and despite the language barrier, my orders have never been goofed. My favorite is the Seaweed Soup, the dim sum is great along with pretty much everything else on the menu. I've paid a lot more money at other Chinatown restaurants and not liked the food half as much. I'm going to call them right now and place an order for pick up...I'm getting hungry just writing about it.

Great food, but like said, the decor is not fancy. But you can't judge rather a restaurant is good by how it looks. Its like how you can't judge a book by its cover. It has been one of the best times I ever had in the Restaurant. It has also been in the Chicago Tribune. Top that Wentworth.
