This is the worst Indian Restaurant I ever dined in. My friend’s girl friend's purse was stolen by an employee or patronage and the owners kept on insisting that she did not bring her purse with while the surveillance proved otherwise. Bad food, worst experience and servers who do not speak English. DON’T dine here. FYI Udipi Restaurant is owned by the owners of Tiffin.

One of the best Restaurants I've visited in the City. Very CLEAN. I had no issues while dining here. Extremely good food, great service, and happy that valet was available on the weekend. Definately planning on coming back.

we ordered our food & we found that it was accompanied by unwanted & unrequested roaches (two of them) since we had already ordered our beverages, management state they would not charge us for our beverages, but we were STILL asked to pay for the entree's we ordered. for the most upscale place on DEVON, i can assure you, we will NOT ever go back there again considering the way management ignored the fact that we found BUGS in our food!!

I've been to Tiffin over 50 times. The service is great for an indian restuarant. The atmosphere is excellent. The food in the lunch buffet is great and reasonably priced. Ordering off the menu is pricy considering that entree's dont come with rice or bread. This restaurant however, is by far one of the best in the Chicagoland area.

Tiffin is the best Indian place I've eaten in Chicago. The food is consistently excellent and the atmosphere is miles ahead of anyplace else on Devon, clean throughout and beautifully decorated. Service is perhaps a little slow, but they've never been rude or made any major mistakes. I'd say for an Indian restaurant, service is pretty good. I'm honestly puzzled by the reviews calling the food mediocre or even "not great" - I've been up and down Devon and Tiffin is the real deal.

read about this restaurant in the new rachel ray magazine..so we went on a friday night...it was packed full..decor was okay..food wasn't great and i thought it was overpriced...the service was disappointing..once seated the waiter never showed up again...we had to hunt him down to take our order, our drinks, and to get the check...horrible experience...if ur looking for great indian food hema's kitchen is by far the best..or try chopal for pakistani food..you won't regret it..

Very diappointing experience. Although valet parking was promised on the phone, no valet ever appeared. High prices for very small portions. Mediocre food. The waiters were studiously inattentive, and every request had to be repeated. Once seated, we were ignored. Certainly not worth the trek from the near South side. Decor is bright and pleasant.
