A small carnival but a way to see the various colours and representation of Caribbean culture and music. People think all Caribbean culture is Jamaica so dust off your map and come see and hear the music and taste the food of this annual event!

If you enjoyed Brazillian Carnival, Caribana, Carnival in Miami, Trinidad, Ney York, Guyana, Atlanta or Barbados; then this is where it is at. I mean bright colorful costumes, sweet sweet Caribbean music and Caribbean food. I have gone to this celebration 9 years in a row and I have enjoyed each year. I look forward to this summertime fest each year and I am confident that you will too!
Oh yeah it is always the thrid Saturday in August on the MIdway in Hyde Park.
