Yes, it does serve authentic Hong Kong food but I will never go back again. First, the server didn't give you chance to complete your order and assumed already what you wanted. Good that we double-checked with him. Then, when my friend was signing the credit card receipt for the bill, he put 0 for the tips because he was going to pay cash for the tips although we all thought the servers didn't deserve a penny!! then this server saw 0 for the tip on the receipt and asked my friend "did you pay tips?!!"...how rude!!

Our family eats at this restaurant at least once a month. We were always very happy with the foods and the price paid until recently we found that our favorite disks like Sizzling pepper steak, Tofu with Japanese mushrooms, oh-Choy with shrimp paste were not as good as before, we then found out that they have a new chef. I'm not sure if it has a new owner because the menu and price are still the same.

Ken Kee is a great restaurant! I love the delicious food. And the pricing is good.

Ken Kee is a hard to remember name. One of the best deals in chinatown. Parking on Archer avenue, or 1 block west ($5). Try the pepper beef (they are willing to substitute if you don't eat beef), which has big chunks of red and green bell peppers (a deal since these peppers sell for 5/lb at grocers). Also there is lightly breaded fish, very crispy and fresh.
Bubble tea is still fairly rare, but you can find it at Ken Kee, with the extra wide straws. Tastey. Bubbles are white or dark tapioca, and other options that I didn't try which would be some type of minced fruit or candy. Also fresh fruit smoothies with ball ball (the bubbles), in super large glasses.
My friend was a vegan, they graciously accommodated her, tho' if she had been more creative in her requests, she might have come out better.
