This place sucks big time. I was rudely stopped from using the restroom just because it was closing time. There were still folks inside the rest room but one SOB host told me I cant get in. The worst part is that we spent $500 there just for a few drinks and this is the treatment I received from this so called upscale bar. The door men are extremely rude and so are a few hosts inside. DO NOT ENTER THAT BAR AND THROW AWAY MONEY.

My friends recently came into town and I tried to show them a good time by taking them to a couple chicago night clubs. Y bar left my friends with a bad taste of chicago night life. I have never had suck rude service like we recieved from Y bar and their STUCK up door staff. If you go and see the asian door guy...watch out he will not let you in.

DONT GO THERE!!!! like everyone stated below the asian door man YAW is an A- Hole. We were on the guest list for a bachlorette party but told us they couldn accomidate us.
Live is full of charma they will get their's one day.

Went there for a birthday celebration and the bouncers there are a real pain! ( esp the asian guy who thinks he is way too cool, i think his name is "Yah"?) He told us he would give us the password to the sound bar ( we were at the y bar really early - like 10:00pm ) and when we left, he told us he said no such thing! Also one of the other bouncers told off a a girlfrined of mine who was waiting to use the restroom! Dont plan to go there again- dumb snobs is what they are all about!

have a friend that serves there. had a table reserved for two bottles. however, the little asian door guy was still giving us problems. he thought he was a lot cooler than he really was and tried charging us all cover. so we all left and spent $500 at Bon V. he just convinced me never to go there again.

Way too elitist. it is all about the 'VIP' bottle-service area.. How can you possibly come here to have fun when you are crowded in the corridor with people pushing past all the time?!? no room to dance, way too many guys that dress exactly the same.. the girls were hot but no room to dance with them.. THIS PLACE SUCKS! Not worth your hard-earned dollar. And i am 100% confident that the DJ was playing a pre-mixed CD (Mr DJ, that is the lowest of the lows)
Go next door if you want to party or relax and chill out.

door man sucks, ya or some shit. service sucked even if you are popping bottles. nice space but wayyyyyyy to many guys in button ups. ha save your self the trouble and spend your money else where.

cool lounge and fun to talk to female bartenders. about 400 guys with long sleeved shirts with 2 buttons down and new religion jeans. 10 hot girls, and 8 came with a boyfriend. i was looking to dance so kind of felt like the cover was a waste for me. went over to spy bar afterwards around the block.

This place sucks! The average age was 15. Unless yuou're a rich kid in a search of ways to get expensive alkohol, don't go here
