This store has the Halloween spirit!A very exciting place with a great variety of costumes and accessories.The staff is very helpful,the prices moderate.Lots of antiques and vintage jewelery too.There is something for everyone.Go visit for a treat!

I do local theatre and rent many costumes form time to time in the Chicago area. I have rented items at Lost Eras on occasion for different productions. This place has never been the cleanest of stores, but due to their cheap rates I’ve never cared. The last time I went in I couldn’t stay more than 20 minutes due to how filthy it was. You could smell the BO coming off the costumes. After I went home I told a friend and she told me the last thing she rented had white stains in the crotch area. In closing never rent or buy clothing form this store. They wash nothing.

I used to work at the old Lerner Newspapers right by the Howard L, and Lost Eras was always one of my favorite haunts within walking distance. I'm really glad to hear it's still around!
