McDuffy's!!!
I have been watching this place for a while. I guess I am a regular, I go in there about once a month. To be honest, this place has been suffering for the past year. But, it's getting better! Stop in within the next couple months and I bet this place is going to be packed again!
If you have never been there, it's worth a try. The place is HUGE. It has an upstairs that overlook the dance floor, a SLIDE, and girls can dance on top of one the the bars. If you go down the slide, you get a free shot. And I think the girls who dance on the bar get free shots. Sometimes they do a quick contest and everyone who does it gets free shots. If you go in there, you probably gonna get something free! You can tell they actually want the customers to have a good time.
The staff is amazing. No one is snobby or thinks they are too good to serve you. And they always have reasonable drink prices. Like they always have $3 Long Islands. And they always have a $1 shots.
I will say that the music has been sucky at times, but I know that it is going to change really soon.
If you went in there and got a bad impression, give it another chance. Obviusly I love this place, and I want everyone else too. But they are doing some major chnages and I think it's going to be effective. Give it one more try!

McDuffy's has long been my favorite south side bar. I don't get out there much anymore. For years I was considered a regular. The worst thing about McDuffy's is that it has to compete with Bourbon Street which is only a few blocks away. I hate Bourbon Street because it's too stale, too big and the patrons are morons. Anywhere with a VIP section, to me, is a joke. McDuffy's is way more comfortable. The beer selection is really good, again. For a while when they re-opened it was very limited. There is no heavy dress code, but it seems to change from time to time. Hats are no longer acceptable. Times are tough on 111th street now. They can't seem to keep a regular crowd. They are being forced to play more hip-hop in order to keep the younger crowd. But it also attracts more A-holes. Too many gang bangers are showing up. There have been fights and even a few stabbings. I don't see this bar lasting much longer. That's unfortunate because it was so great for a long time.

i love this place been going here for 3 yrs the staff rocks the owner is a sweet heart love the bartenders this is the place to go one the weekends for a good f***ing time

I love McDuffy's! It is my favorite south side place! It's got amazing music, they play everything from rock to rap, and even some country if you're lucky! The people are great, the staff is great, and if you like poles, it's the place to get on the bar and get a free shot! Hope to see you all there soon!

It's a well known secret that if you know the person checking ID's that you can get minors into this bar, as they seem to look the other way.

Dont go there i got stabbed in the arm and about 9 inches across my side. Mcduffys wont give up there tapes and id scans to help me catch the guy that could have killed me!!

McDuffy's was always fun, but now the remodeling made it even better. The slide is awesome, plus you get a free shot. You don't have to wait ten minutes for a drink like you do downtown. The staff is always having fun with the costumer, and don treat you like they're doing you a favor by being there. It is a layed back fun atmosphere, made better now with the modern look

I wanna just say I love mcduffys. I been there a handful of times and everytime I go there I run into someone from my childhood or highschool friends I have seen n years. People should just go there and have fun

I love this bar, I went for the first time about a month ago, and haven't gone anywhere since. The drinks and shots are cheap, but the cover is crazy for a little southside bar!

MCDUFFYS IS AWESOME.I GIVE IT A 10! IVE BEEN THERE TWICE SINCE I TURNED 21, YOU CAN CHILL IF YOU WANT OR DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY IF YOU WANT TO. THE STAFF IS GREAT, AND MOST OF THE PEOPLE ARE THERE FOR THE SAME REASON YOU ARE- TO HAVE A GREAT TIME.
