This place is HORRIBLE!! Went during the week with two friends. Service was unbeleivably bad! We tried to order many things, they were out of all of them. We ended up with 2 aps. One was a deep fried crab claw that tasted like rubber! The other was mystery sliced meat! General Tso's was gluey and all the chicken was dark meat. The roasted duck was the skinnest duck I ever saw, all bones and burned! Even the almond cookies, which i'm sure are not homeade, are atrocious. Do not eat here!!!

This place is awful! Service, ambience and food all sucked.

Terrible service. The restaurant had plenty of seats available and we had to wait 10 minutes to sit down because nobody cleared the tables. Then, we didn't get menus for another 5 minutes (they should be handed to you as you sit down, i think). Finally, our food order was never placed. I had to get up and ask for it after 30 minutes, and only then did someone go back and place the order, and they still forgot the egg roll! They just have a bad system with no hostess or busboy and every waitress trying to do all the jobs at once, and failing at them all. Plus, the food was not that good. It was typical. With "Seafood" in the name of the restaurant you would expect good seafood, but their softshell crab was deep fired and might as well have been a french fry. Go north to Argyle and check out some of the Vietnamese restaurants instead.

Plain and simple, the food sucks. Fake seafood, no "spice" at all the the "hot" dishes. Don't waste your time or money.

As part of the Silver Seafood working staff family i am overwhelmed with these comments. The resturant has come along way from its opening and is simply happy to serve well prepared dishes for reasonable prices. Honestly i am just happy to see the resturant being mentioned and making its way. I will definitely use these comments to increase your dining experience. Thank you all for your support and happy eating!

Our dear friends had food delivered for their "Erev Christmas" Party.

I thought the quality was as high as anything served to me "fresh" at any Chinese restaurant.

Shrimp, Clams, Chicken, and Egg Rolls were fantastic, with just enough "heat" where appropriate.

    Crab Rangoon was unremarkable.

Definitely planning to visit their premises soon! db

The food is delicious, but the service is poor because waiters and waitress do not know how to speak English. And they use so much MSG.

Silver Seafood has become one of our regular places, with delicious all-time-favorites on the menu - but not your usual fare. The food here is so very fresh and deftly prepared. Exquisitely balanced flavors blend with artistic presentation for a wondrous meal. We like to begin with the seafood potstickers, egg rolls, then the yummy seaweed soup, followed by spicy-salted shrimp, then pea sprouts with garlic, General Tsao's chicken, mongolian beef, a whole steamed fish with ginger, garlic and scallions... and if there's room opt for the comforting desserty soup, whether sweet red bean or tarot root, it's a cross between tapioca pudding and soupy custard. Not too sweet but goes down so easy. And don't forget the bobo fruit shakes. (My favorite is the avocado, although I don't like it sweet, so I have to ask them not to add sugar. So good, so good.) Be sure to go with a big crowd so you can sample as many things as possible. Big yum.
