I will never order from this place again. The phone operators are extremely rude and could care less about customer service. I ordered a pizza and fried mushrooms, the pizza was cold and they forgot the mushrooms. They are incompetent and need to learn how to speak with people over the phone. If you're thinking of ordering from this place, you may want to think twice. Pathetic.

I ordered a pizza for my 3rd grade class and it took 3 HOURS for them to deliver (Mind you the restaurant is right down the street).
Anyway, around HOUR 2, my students began to complain about their head and/or stomach hurting. Earlier that day we had been on a field trip; the pizza was going to be our lunch. I called the restaurant several times and each time I called she would tell me, 'He'll be there in 2 minutes". Unfortunately, I couldn't cancel my order because I didn't want to let my kids down and, of course, they HAD TO EAT!
And wouldn't you know it, when the pizza finally arrived the delivery guy was unforgivably rude. The best they could do was to take $15 dollars off of the bill (the bill was close to $100).

I Love Congress Pizza. The 70s decoration reminds me of back in the days. They have the best pizza you will ever taste. My favorite is the chicken vesuivio. It is soo mouth watering. Congress Pizza is my numer 1 pizza place

The Congress Pizzeria is in a scary area? Are you nuts? Maybe if you grew up in the back woods which is very scary. I have been going to the Congress for over 15 years. It is great in the fact that it is a throwback to the 70s. The pizza, pasta and italian beefs are excellent. What a value!

I looove congress! I love it when the weather is bad because we always stay in and order from congress. Its so good. they put thier heart and soul into that food. The chicken fetuccini alfredo is my favorite. We ate there once the creepiness was that of a scene from the movie "Nothing but Trouble" Everyone really nice though and they took care of us like we were family. *****

The area where the restaurant resides would scare anybody who isn't use to the near west side. I have to agree with the other reviewer that 1) The actual Restaurant is a throwback from the 70s and 2) The pizza is the best in the Logan/Wicker Park/Bucktown area and it is reasonably priced. I wouldn't order take-out pizza from anywhere else.

ok...the place as far as dinning is a total scare.. you have old school decoration.. and off the wall waitresses.. yet they remind of home. you can never get word right. But it's just like talking to mom. As far as the pizza goes it's mouth watering. wether you order it at location or at home you will never stop having it!!! i totally recommend order at home. But dont knock them off for being who they are. it's a mom and pops trying to survive kind of place if you dine in. They are my number 1 PIZAA place for delivery. best pizza ever. Rock on Congress Pizza! I am a devoted customer
