The Green Eye is one of the best bars around - and I travel a lot. The bartenders are swift and professional, the decor is perfect for relaxing and the WiFi is great and never bogged down. The music is a bit 'alternative' but cool. I highly recommend the Green Eye.

I had set out on a quest one evening to find a decent standard to replace my living room, all to often an unrefreshing place after my commute. After hopping off the L @ Logan Sq. and California and then hopping right back on, finally i found the Eye. extremely laid back and loads of cute people quitely toasting the ambient naughtiness with anything and everything from a Miller to a Martini.

The Green Eye is great neighborhood bar. Excellent bartenders, beer selection and nice cross section of people from the neighborhood.
The staff is friendly and I have always had a good time there.

The "ice" has become the Cheers of the hood, supplanting Pinky's of yesteryear. Turbo, Davey, and the gang are supercool and there's always a High Life awaiting me. Rokk on!

The Green Eye is the perfect combination of art/hipster bar with neighborhood saloon. That's not just because artists and hipsters have moved into this neighborhood--it's because the locals haven't been kicked out (unless they smell bad or cause fights). The weekday bartender, John, is the ideal day bartender-knows his sports, his literature, his New York Times crossword, and you never go thirsty.
