I had been hearing raves about Tweet from friends for some time. Once I finally went there for brunch recently, all I could keep thinking was, "What took you so long!!?? Tweet serves THE best brunch in all of Chicago, and that's north, south, east or west side. The food is complemented by the fine photographs and artwork on the wall, making for a feast for the stomach and the eyes. Stop reading and GO!

After eating at Tweet numerous times and advising many friends to eat there the verdict is unanimous, Tweet is the king in the bang for the buck category. Their food is always fabulous, from start to finish. It is refreshing that an establishment can serve such great food and be so extraverted! Many a restaurant could learn something in hospitality from Tweet.

Saturday night, a bit crowded. Those without reservations were sent 'next door' for drinks, so make reservations.Parking is a nightmare. French onion soup was fabulous, escargot, not fabulous..large chunks of garlic that no one wants to actually eat.Porkchop was delicious, fish wasn't very good. Meal was just so/so. Perhaps it's best for breakfast and not dinner.

Had brunch today at Tweet's - it was fantastic. Very fresh food - apple & cranberry compote with my eggs! Super good bloody mary, they even brought me a tiny cup of celery salt to jazz up the drink. We were seated quick & the service was efficient & friendly. My new favorite place for brunch! Loved it!

The food is great!!! I have never tasted anything so heavenly without paying two hundred dollars. I give my thanks to the owner for making a stand to purchas quality items and sell them for a reasonable price. I aslo compliment the cheifs Janice and Kim Stewart. Their combanation of skill and mastery of the art of cooking is unmatched anywhere else. The desserts have me floating in a sea of bliss every time I eat there!! You will be crazy not to try it!!!
