I head here all the time. Brehon's is a great pub with a true Chicago vibe and lots of history. The "if you have dreads" comment is beyond ridiculous. I believe its from a former (not so good) bartender. Anyhow, they do have great bartenders and a solid pub grub menu.

Not a bad place to visit... If you dont have dreads! If you do you wont be welcome. The staff is great and not pretentious... However the owners are and they dont appreciate people below their standards

Brehon is an old favorite, and they have the best bartender in the Midwest!!!!

I love the beautiful holiday decorations at Brehon. My only complaint is the cheap drunks that always want free drinks!!!

I love Brehon. My only complaint is sometimes it's so dark and cloudy in there I can't see my tab...

I love the cloudy dark feeling inside plus free popcorn!! Everyone there seems genuinely interested in talking and listening to stories.

Great after work hangout . . . staff is fantastic, drinks are priced well, and it seems everyone there is just looking for a good time! Perfect place to grab a quick bite during lunch as well!
