I am a regular at Enoteca Piattini because the service is great, the prices are amazing, the food is fresh, and the wine (AND BEER) selection does not compare to other restaurants in the Lincoln Park area.

I highly suggest giving this restaurant a try and you will not leave dissatisfied.

What a great evening. I was concerned abou the service based on previous reviews. The waitstaff were very attentive and also patient. Water was refilled, new plates brought between courses. The food was really good. Across the board: pasta, salad, meat, appetizer, all the plates were really tasty. The bill for 9 plates, 2 desserts, and 1 glass of wine was like $90 and all 6 of us left stuffed.

I thought the place was very cute, however, the lighting was a little too dim to read the menus. I was surprised to see that the wine flights did not have the vintages listed, since "flights" do serve as a means of comparing wines from different regions, vintages, varietals etc. I pointed this out to an employee who was not our server and he rudely told me "sorry" and to refer to the page by the glass for the vintages, which I had done prior to my inquiry and found that all wines listed on the flights list could not be found on the list of wines by the glass, hence, I was still left vintage-less. My point in all this, is that any venue featuring wine flights should include vintages as details like these are important to people who enjoy wine, since having no vintages listed brings to mind wine that does not require a vintage--i.e.White Zinfandel. Also, employees of establishments who feature flights should not give their clientele attitude if they inquire about vintages as if it is absurd.

On a more positive note, the mussels marinara were divine.

Francis- i felt that the 22% tip was well deserved if you got Ryan as your server. He served us tonight and my husband and I had a wonderful time.

Our group of 7 ate there last weekend. The bill showed 18% gratuity, but in fact they charged 22%. Pretty sneaky and dishonest!

I love this new lincoln park bar/restaurant. The food and atmosphere is great. A great place for a date or party. Check it out.
