thai oscar was closed down on tuesday may 13,2008 for failing health inspections. they found rat droppings all over the place. how disgusting

We've eaten at all of the numerous Thai restaurants in Lincoln Square, and Thai Oscar is by far the best of the bunch. We usually get carry-out, and it is always, consistently tasty. Definitely recommended.

We have been to Thai Oscar several times now, and each time it seems to get a little better! I have ordered several different dishes on the menu, including the delicious, enormous Pad Thai, the Teriyaki Salmon, and several of the maki rolls. The tuna maki is the best I have ever tasted, and being for Florida, I am VERY picky about my seafood. The staff is fabulous, ever helpful without being ever present, though they are always near should you need them. Thai Oscar is BYOB, which means a nice dinner with appetizers and (your own) bottle of wine or beer will only run $25-30. We have been all to many Thai restaurants in Chicago, but Thai Oscar is the standout. Easy street parking, nice neighborhood.
