I was most impressed after my first visit. The flavor of each dish took me back home to Jamaica. It was as if I was eating from my mothers' kitchen. The food was well seasoned just as we Jamaicans like and the combination of flavors that came with each bite was mouth watering. The only thing that I did not like was the music, there was no calypso feel to it. Maybe some sweet lovers rock reggae will do the trick. All in all this was a great experience.

Here is another Hyde Park restaurant that I have patronized since it opened. The atmnosphere is great, the cuisine unbeatable, the staff friendly and helpful. Everything is so good i hardly now what to stress. The pasties are delicious, the conch fritters are wonderful, the jerk chicken? You must try it, you won't regret it.

It's not hard to do vegetarian -- go outside the restaurant, climb a tree and suck on a branch. Enjoy, while I go consume cow after cow at Fogo de Chao!

Quieter than expected, lush but moderate surroundings. You feel transported to the islands. Good deals on fish, but hard to do vegetarian. Key lime pie, mmmmm.
Near Harper court, with city metered parking just to the east (entrance 1-2 blocks east). Also, try Dixie next door (same owner, I think, but more casual).
