Ugh...what a disaster! My husband's band played a show there last night and the sound guy was a complete jerk! He obviously is new at running sound because he couldn't figure out when the band wanted more/less sound in their monitors and called them "idiots" and asked if they'd ever played live before. Umm....yea, buddy, they've all been playing live for the last 20 years! He left them standing on the stage, waiting to play, with house music playing, for 10 minutes. He just took off out of the sound booth!! Talk about unprofessional! I know that we won't be back unless they hire a REAL professional sound guy.

The Cubby Bear North was a great experience for me and my friends. We came in for a birthday, had dinner, watched all different sports on their screens and then watched an amazing 80's 90's cover band. The crowd was really into the band and the atmosphere around us was very upbeat. The bartenders treated us well and always knew what kind of drinks we wanted when we came to the bar. I will be going there again in the near future to have a great time.

i love this place. the atmosphere is fantastic but the female bartender i had was by far the worst bartender i have ever had. someone must have hired her out of fear cause she was rude, mean, and horrible. didnt know a draft from a can of beer and was absolutely horrid

OK food, service like you would expect. The real surprise was when I got my VISA bill and noticed I had been charged twice, once without the tip, and once after the tip was added. After further reviewing my actual receipt I also noticed that Cubby Bear prints the entire VISA card number on the receipt instead of x'ing out all but the last 4 numbers. In this day of credit card theft and ID theft that is unacceptable. I did talk to a very pleasant manager about this to try to get an explanation but after waiting over 1 week for a reply I'm giving up. They just lost my business for good.

Big Bar - Good appetizer/sandwich type food. Good place to see a band.
