sparky and nikki make a great team of witty bartenders and the food is much above your average bar food. the pot roast on sundays is the perfect dish of comfort food on a cold day. they also serve one of the best brunch menus in the city!

Went there on a Saturday night to escape the cold, and had a great time. The bartenders are some of, if not the, friendliest in Chicago. We'll be back next week, and the week after that...

dark n dirty bar..smoke stained/covered walls and ceiling. Had 1 beer and bailed...disapointed.

I love this bar and stop in at least twice a week, if not more. The only problem I have is that the food, for as good as it is, is priced a little too high for a neighborhood joint. Nevertheless, the Four Moon never disappoints.

I stayed in the neighborhood, in a very bad apartment, and paying far too much for it just so that I'd be within walking distance of this superb bar.
It being somewhat of an actor's bar also lends itself to being a lively place to be.

Best bar food in the city! I hesitate to even call it bar food because it's so far above that. Best french fries in town, hands down.

Being from the neighborhood, I relate to the kind of place that throws you a couple free drinks once in a while and keeps the environment as casual as possible. With all the trendy places popping up these days, it's nice to know that the neighborhood has kept it's roots. Cn't beat the food and prices too!!!

The atmosphere is warm and cozy with just a touch of whimsy. You can sack out on the couch in the back, belly up to a heavy wooden table, or enjoy the weather outside. The food is just the right combination of "bar" and "home cookin'" ... and check out the weekend brunch and daily specials for some surprises and variety. Combine that with a terrific staff and you've got a fun and friendly spot to enjoy a brew or two.

Great place with great food. The only downsides are one of the owners is a dick and the regulars think they can act. The latter is not much of a downside though as the many starving artist routines going on at any given moment provide laughs.
