AWFUL FOOD.
Moved in the hood recently and took a chance. I have been to Thailand, and also frequent many local Chicago Thai restaurants.
When I saw Chop Suey on the menu I should have RUN. I ordered ginger chicken and 1. It had no ginger in it. @. Had more oinions than chciaken 3 was made with BLACK PEPPER NOT RED. 4. Smallest portion size I have ever seen for almost 8 bucks. 5. HAD sHRIMP TOM YUM AND IT WAS LIKE WATER WITH CHEAP HOT SAUCE. It's a shame as it is right across from my home..... NEVER GO HERE.

I was surprised after went back, this time with party of four. The dinner last weekend, we ordered Crab Rangoon, Chicken Stay, Spring Roll, and Tom Kha Kai. The main dishes, Pat Thai, Shrimp Fried Rice (biggest shrimps in Chicago)made it very tastety), Yellow Curry with Rib Eye Steak (Yummy). and Spicy Catfish.
The best meal we have been experienced for Thai Restaurant.
There were totally clean, and it would highly recommended.

Best Thai Food in Chicago We have been ordered once a week since February 2008 after we came back from vacation in Thailand. Jitlada Thai House has the same original Thai cuisine we ordered in Bangkok. We were surprised when read all reviews in Chicago area, we think they have never been to Thailand.
We ordered delivery, the price is very reasonable for three of us, egg rolls, spring rolls ($2.95 each), pat thai, pat see-iw and basil chicken, all main dishes are $5.95 each.
We would recommended you try it yourself, not just read reviews.
By the way, the food we ordered arrived in 35 minutes.

My idia same someone..............We are very disappointed with the service here. Delivery times have been very inconsistent and our last encounter with them involved a very rude, inconsiderate employee. They should learn to treat their customers more professionally. We will not be ordering from here again.

Jitlada's food is really good I tried most of the Thai restaurants in Chicago and nothing really compares. The service at the restaurant is not the best but the curries and the Pad Thai rocks. I had the green curry shrimp and wow it was very flavorful and the best curry I ever had. Try this place you won't go wrong.

I stumbled upon this amazing Thai Restaurant seven years ago and have made it a weekly night out ever since. This is my only choice for Thai. The freshest curry that I have tasted since being in Thailand. The head chef, Toy, is a true gem in the kitchen and out. She prides herself in using the freshest ingredients and it really shows in the flavors. Her peanut sauce took me right back to Thailand, amazing...and the price is so reasonable. Over the years I have seen the restaurant change in size but the quality of the food remains the fantastic. Take a trip to Lakeview and check out Jitlada Thai House...you won't be sorry.

After reading current reviews, I gave it a try, so good. this is the place for the best Thai food! Absolutely loved it. The flavors are delecately balanced and put together perfectly as if the cheif knew I'd love it! I recomend it to everyone who loves Thai food or wants to try it.
