We were at Topo for the first time Saturday evening, 12/8/07. I was hoping for a decent meal. What I got was a fantastic meal and a fun place! Our waiter steered me to the Osso Buco and it was as good or better than I have ever had! My wife's veal piccata was also wonderful. I hope to return soon!

Topo Gigio is fantastic. We were there 3/3/06 and can't wait to go back. The food was wonderful. The portions are generous. The menu is extensive. The prices are reasonable. The tall Italian waiter we had was very knowledeable and friendly. The best Italian restaurant in the city.

Topo Gigio has amazing food but the service is so rude and unfriendly. I guess it does not stop people from coming back (myself included). The food is great... but be prepared for a rude man to greet you and unattentive waiters.

We ate here on a Friday evening. The food, atmosphere and service were all wonderful. We were a table of 6 and they were able to get us in quickly (even though they orignally said 45-1 hour wait). This is a place we would highly recommend to others we know.

i remember seeing the topo gigio show back in Peru and enjoying every minute. I also had the doll, now i ahve a daughter who loves him. Can someone help me find a doll for her please.

The pasta and calamari are incredible. Cooked al dente, the seafood is also very fresh, and the marinara is the best ever. One note though, for younger looking customers, the service is terrible. The host is uninviting, and the server will not check to see if you need refills on drinks or if everything is alright. Not a thank you or a see you soon. I have been there on a couple occassions and this was always the case. Other than that, the food is great!

Hi I have a Topo gigio doll it is very old I'm going to ebay it soon. It is about 9 " tall it has eye glass mustas and the body,hand,head moves. If you would like me to send a pic of it I will.

I'm curious if anyone knows how much my Topo Gigio doll is worth. I inherited it from my Grandmother who passed last year, and I don't know what to do with it. It's the standing firgure in its origional box. He's standing on a stage that resembles the one on Ed Sullivan (I'm assuming this). The box has some wear, but the firure is in perfect condition. It's never been out of it package. Any help would be appreciated.
