I wish I read the reviews before I came to this dump. Took 20 minutes to get a round of drinks!!! No joke. I ordered a burger and it tasted spoiled. The staff refused to change my order because I took 1 bite. To top it off, they added a 20% gratuity to our tab. 20% for crappy service?? I asked them to remove it and they became argumentative. The manager was no help. Never again will I step foot in this place.

I went with a group of friends and the waitress stole our money from the table. My friend left her money on the table. The waitress came to pick up our beers and began cleaning the table while we where there, rude right. Well when she left my friend noticed that her money was missing. We immediately confronted the waitress and she of course denied it. The manager is a prick who began yelling at us. He called over a bouncer who tried to man handle us. Never going back to this place.

Don't go to the South Loop Club. I have visited this location many times before and had no problem paying for their overprice drinks. The location is convenient, but forget it. There are better places nearby. Miller's Pub. Beef and Brandy's. Bar Louie. Hell, even Brando's. The staff is rude. The manager is an asshole. The owner is worse. Good luck if you get overcharged. I went with a group of six tonight. After one of our party was asked to leave because she only wanted to drink water ("This is not a place to come hang out"), the rest of us bought a pitcher, and three beers. Tell me how that could come to be $33. The manger couldn't, and asked us to leave immediately. I have spent a fortune at this dump in the past and never disputed it. My own stupid choice, however, I'm not going to pay for charges that can't be backed up. The waitstaff and managers WILL NOT show you your charges, and WILL NOT work with you if you have been over charged. Forget about going to this place. There are better rip-offs in this city, even if they are rip-offs too.

Horrible experience. There is an old creepy guy sitting near the entrance staring you down. We sat down and it took the waitress 15 minutes to take our order. When they finally brought our order they brought me the wrong beer. I pointed this out to the waitress who replied "I'm busy, if you don't like it talk to the manager" I called over the manager who insisted that the order was fine!!! I asked him why would I lie about my order. He responded "You probably want a freebie, if you don't like it, pay and leave" I told him I wasn't paying for something I didn't order. He responded "then leave now" So we left

i love it here, and if anyone has a bad time, they probably have a bad attitude! my waitress was a cute brunette with tattoos and i had the best time with her she's a great server!! def. try and sit in her section!!

My friends and I will never return to the South Loop Club again. We ordered fries, nachos and pizza. We had been waiting awhile and looked over to see if our food was on it's way. We noticed all three of our ordered items being put on a tray, and then WATCHED the waitresses pick fries off of our plate. When I confronted them, they apologized and said they would give me $1.00. I explained to them that I could afford the fries, it was the fact that what they were doing was wrong and unsanitary. They did not seem to understand this. Next, as we are eating our pizza, we notice 2 black hairs on our plate. At this point, I confront the manager who does not seem to give a shit and accuses me of putting my light brown hair on the plate and magically turning them black? For the next 3 days I continued to call and speak to a manager, never to get a call back. HATE THIS PLACE.

My friends and I went there for a few beers and a late night snack. We didn't have any problems and our waitress was great...to each their own I suppose.

The City Of Chicago Health Department cited this place for rat droppings on the stove and counter. I'd stay from any food items and don't forget to drink from the bottle and not the glass. E coli poisoning is painful.

I was shocked at the treatment of the customers by the manager at this place. The manager is clearly racist. I see him berate several customers and i couldn't help but wonder if it was racially motivated. The staff at South Loop send a clear message to non Caucasian customers, you are not welcomed here. Keep out and stay out!
