I LOVE THIS BAR!!! So much so that we drive from Milwaukee Wisconsin to specifically hang out at Side Kicks! The people are so cool, the drinks are good and strong and the food is great! I have witnessed some real talent in that place! AWESOME PLACE!!!!!!

We all know that Sidekicks is just not the same anymore. We had some great hosts....Bob, Ken, Sally....But we are all in a better place. Sally, good luck with Bob & Dean..(don't forget Sandy Zar too) Great singers make GREAT hosts! Miss the old times! Rene Marzec (Zeivel)

I was the host at sidekicks for 7years, I have heard the manegment still sucks. And they fire people for no reason , Just ask Sally the ex- host for 8 years she now works with me for startracks karaoke in chicago area. i have been to sidekicks most every weekend for about a year now. i enjoy myself each and every time i go. i myself am not a singer, but there is a lot of undiscovered talent that does go there. sally, the kj on the weekends has a very strong and beautiful voice to match her apperance.i enjoy talking with her and also the staff,they are very plesent and try there best to take care of everyones needs and make you feel at home. the food is plentyful, tasty and always served hot and with a smile. have a good evening, go to sidekicks and see for yourself, then tell your friends they will thank you for it . ron

One of my very favorite places to enjoy a great evening out! The KJs are entertaining (and a couple of them, especially Sally, are great singers), the people who go here are friendly and down to earth. Good food (pizza and cheese sticks are my fave), free parking, and they have karoake every night until 4:00 a.m. The song list is HUGE. I love Sidekicks.

This place use to be one of the hotest spots for karaoke back When Bob was the kj bacck then, he was there for about 7 years. Since then its really become lame. I recently found Bob Doing shows with Star Tracks Karaoke from nw side of chicago. look them up and your bound to have a great karaoke time.

Marjim, you're so wrong about the clientele that goes to Sidekicks, the truth is that this place especially on Sundays, (which is the day that apparently you like to go out on), gets filled up with Aquashmucks. These people like to sit there and drink water, sing religious songs, and complain about the rotation. The KJ in question is doing a fine job considering people like you never tip him, why should he cater to your special needs? The real fun part of the night is seeing old folks like you trying to sing any song on key, if you only knew how awful you people sound! The way I see it he is doing you a favor by not letting you sing that crap that you, and only you, appreciates. My advice to you is next time you stop by Sidekicks order a few shots of Jack Daniel's, tip the bartender and KJ and see how much more fun you and your friends will have......

I love this place.you can just be yourself.no posers or people with chips on their shoulder.Good brews at decent prices.Plenty of bouncer who keep the place fun.No one ever seems to get out of hand just really really enjoy themeslves.eveyone i bring enjoys the place.
