Awesome. I went on a recommendation. Now I recommend to everyone and everyone I know does too. This Italian spot combines fruits and nuts in like every dish and the flavor is unreal. I sware you have to ask the waiter to repeat the specials 2x because they sound so good you cant evenchoose. Appetizers are huge, meals are too. Prices are very low for quality and portion size. They dont take reservations so you have to go on a weeknight, or get there early and chill across the street at Mauve for an hour or so. They'll call you when your tables ready. Its cant miss.

Our favorite romantic place to eat. We have been going to Rose Angelis every year on each of our wedding aniiversaries. So far it has been 8 including our visit this coming April 2007. We heard about it on TV, on how this guy quit his job making good money to open this food place. Great choice! The stuffed tortellini of duck in cognac sauce is MY favorite!! My hubby loves it all! Great romantic dim-lighting place to definitely take the one you love!!!

We went to Rose Angelis last night for our Valentines Dinner. We found the food to be very average. The cost was reasonable.

this is probably one of the worst places i have ever had in 5+ years of eating in the city. the food is bland and the service is awful. the place is cute, but i would rather go to fazzoli's than eat here again - much better bargain.

I am so sorry but I think Rose Angelis is at best a one star restuarant. I cannot understand how anyone can say this is a good Italian resturant. I live close by and I see the lines. It is a mystery to me. The food is fair and the service is soooooooooo slow. I have had friends try it, and they agreed with me. It is a pretty restaurant but I have had better food from Whole Foods frozen section. Luckily, Chicago offers a lot better Italian restuarants than Rose Angelis.

Simply our favorite restaurant -anywhere. You'll find wonderful, fresh foods with unique combinations of ingredients that prove to be as delicious as they sound. We always try to go before 7:30 and have rarely had to wait more than 15 mins. Be sure to save room for the bread pudding - it's unlike anything you've ever had. Over the years, we've brought many family and friends from out of town here and every one of them has left impressed and jealous that we live within walking distance.

CAN YOU SAY YUMMMMMMMMM!!! WOW! Tortellini anatra ubriaco - duck filled tortellini tossed with spinach, tomato, sun dried tomatoes and fresh mozzarella in a wine and cognac reduction. This is a fabulous entree I would have to say. Add a glass or two of wine and you will enjoy the enhancement of flavor to your palette. Don’t be afraid to ask your server for crushed garlic, balsamic vinegar and parmigiana for their fresh bread. It is to die for. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and I have. It is very special and I know you will enjoy the experience every time you return as I do!!! This is a great find!!!

This is by far, one of the best retaurants I've been to in the city. You're going to wait when its busy, but you will be pleasantly surprised when you eat the delcious food. The portions will knock your socks off. The wine is good at a fair price. You can go to a big chain restaurant or a very expensive place, and not find the quaint atmosphere and high quality that you will get here.

My wife and I had a wonderful time - our 15th anniversary. The food was superb and the service was very friendly and positive. We ate outdoors which I would recommend. Best tiramisu dessert we have ever had in our lives.

We ate at Rose Angelis over the weekend and while the atmosphere is charming and the wine list relatively decent, my husband and I both became violently ill after dinner, and remained ill for days. It was my secind time eating there, and it will, unfortunately, be my last.
