We'd been gettign takeout from Rise for years but hadn't in a while. A coupel of weekends ago, we ordered again. First of all, the prices on their website were inaccurate, and our order was WAY overpriced (with no warning). When we got the food home, the portions were all smaller than they had ever been, and the food was blah. It seems Rise is in coasting mode and just not interested in quality any more. Go up the street to Sushi Mura instead.

I will never eat there again. My wife and I ordered carry out. We skip the sushi places that are closer to us and make the 25 minute trip there and back. Upon returning home we discovered that the scallop rolls we ordered were in fact octopus. We called to get a refund. The manager got on the phone and informed us that there would be no refund of the $10 for the two incorrect rolls. The owners have issued a fatwah that no refunds may be given unless the wrong food is returned to the restaurant. The manager would not send his delivery driver to pick up their mistake and informed me that they would do nothing to rectify their mistake. These guys don’t care if you are satisfied with the food or the service. For the $10 they got to keep on their mistake from me tonight, the manager conceded that he would rather not have me as a customer. Choose wisely. Find a different place to eat.

Awesome sushi/rolls here. Be sure to try all the special rolls they have because those are the best (especially the mexican roll!). Not to be missed.
