I have been there for several St. Pats. They had great food, great music with authentic Pipe and Drum bands, Irish dancers, and great service. In December 05, I had the tenderloin and it was the best I have had in Chicago and I eat a lot of it (such as at Hugo's which is also good). I highly recommend it for dinner and I am a tuff food critic.

Don't waste your time with Obrien's especially on St. Patricks Day. I went on a Saturday with four friends from out of town - what a complete disappointment. The staff was rude and diconnected from us the whole evening. We saw at least two servers hanging out with thier friends and completly innoring us and others the whole evening. I would suggest walking another 400 feet to Spoon - we eventually ended up there and were able to recover what was left of a otherwise over priced poor experience. I'm always surprised to see this caliber of service in Chicago. Want a cool Irish place go to? - - > O'Douds. Also, I wouldn't trust four reviews on this page they were written most likely by the same waitresses who ignored us the whole night. Who has time to write a review at 11:40PM on a Tuesday?

Can't wait for St. Paddy's day- they are supposed to have the best celebration in town- food, fun, beer, music and buffets! Giddy Up!

Huge fan, big supporter! Everything from the O'Brien chips for an appetizer and the caesar salad made tableside to the almond crusted whitefish and the 7 layer chocolate cake was great! No complaints here. I would highly recomend this place to anyone. It is a great destination- great service, great atmosphere, and great food!

As a frequent customer of this fine establishment I have never had a bad experience here! I was reminded of how great the place is when I visited the restaurant yesterday for a much desired steak dinner. The char broiled steaks are never a disappoint and always satisfy. Mine was juciy, delicious, cooked to perfection, served with a smile and unforgettable- as usual!

Just had a delicious lunch at O'Brien's yesterday. The Barbeque Chicken and Cobb salads were great choices. The waitstaff was very friendly and I will definitely go back for more!

This resturant was a big disapointment. I went for my birthday with six people. You would think that the staff couldn't forget about us but they definately were able to. The hostess and waiter were very rude from the beginning. The food was good but not great. For the most pat we had to flag down the waiter.
