The mutiny is the only place left in Chicago (on the north side) that is down and dirty, cheap, never a cover, always good people, a lot of times great music. Big beers, nice people, yummy punk-rock girls, free pool, good music.. it's perfection.

Holy Roman Empire is playing there tomorrow night (July 22). I saw them for the first time last month at the Bottom Lounge and they put on a great show. Everyone in the place came alive when they got on stage. Their drummer was previously in Rise Against and their guitar player (Neeraj) is fast! You can hear a sample of what they sound like at their site.

Nick Barnett member of "The Odd Trio" and "Earthworm" is playing at The Mutiny this Thursday night (5/19/05) at 10pm. Come by and hang out for a while, you won't be disappointed.

I love the mutiny like cold pizza after a night of binge drinking, which always happens when i'm there. My band (Power Junkie) has played there many a times and every single time was fun as hell and the bartenders are goddesses with liquor. I definitely recommend this club to anyone who likes good times that don't cost an arm and a peg leg.

The Mutiny is a really cool place to see local bands. Check out Power Junkie next time they play. They are straight up Rock n roll. Next date they are playing June 11, 2004.
