You have not had pizza until you have eaten Lou Malnati's. I ate there on vacation last month and was blown away. I'm a huge meat eater but my girlfriend is a vegetarian. We split a veggie pizza and I was blown away, I wouldn't talk to my girl until I was finished eating, she didn't mind either, she was busy eating too. I can only dream about the flavor of the Roni or Sausage pizza. I plan to eat there every time I go to Chicago, it might even play a small part in my deciding to move there after school. For now though, I plan on shelling out $70 to have 4 pies at a time delivered to Atlanta. I can't eat most of the pizza here ever again.....thanks alot Lou!

We ate at Lou's March 11th, 2007. It was the BEST I had in Chicago on vacation. The butter deep dish crust is to die for. Sausage is outstanding and the tomato sauce is INCREDIBLE!!

It is easy to agree with all the other positive reviews--the pizza is great--true chicago deepdish at it's finest. However, the salads are very average (especially the caesar) and the service is slow and inconsistent--some of the employees are sharp and friendly and others are complete morons

Lou Malnati's was recommended to us several years ago and we NEVER miss it when we travel to Chicago. The deep dish is good, but we really love the thin crust, and the big salads. Wherever we travel, we search out the best pizza places, and we have to rank this near the top of the list.

A stranger in a coffee shop and I got into a conversation at Christmas Eve and he said he was going home and he and his wife's CE dinner was a pizza from Malnati's. I had no clue what that was, but got the website from him and ordered it. Expensive, yes. Worth it, YES. Even frugal hubby says "splurge." Oh yes and DO BE SURE YOU GET THE COMBO PACK W/LONG GROVE APPLE PIE. That alone is worth the cost of the shipment.

This is the best pizza I ever had. I moved to Louisiana from Michigan. My girl friend is from the south and has never experienced Chicago style pizza. For our first date I got on line and ordered Lou's. It was the best that her and I ever had. We try to order it at least once every couple of months now.
