Out of all the art centers in Illinois, Lillstreet by far is my top choice. My kids love the Kidstreet program and are always eager to leave the house and go to class which is a such a gift for me! Lillstreet's summer camps are terrific too. I take classes there as well, and especially loved the glass beadmaking class with Amy Lemaire. I never thought I'd have the ability to make such beautiful things! I'm not an artist, just wanted to try it out and have never had so much fun! I'm looking forward to the Home and Garden pottery course this winter. I want to re-decorate with my home with my own work. The First Slice Cafe that is right in the gallery space is adorable and delicious. I always treat myself to a slice of pie after class :) I love Lillstreet and can't rave enough about it!!
