Being an Irish girl raised in an Irish family, I've been to quite a few amazing Irish pubs. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of them. Though the decor was dead on, instead of the traditional Irish music I was told to expect, they were playing some modern day, rock rubbish. All the patrons were older, rich businessmen staying and the Hilton...and that was it. I was the only young woman in the entire place. Their menu was small and overpriced, and their corned been and cabbage (a standard fair I figured that HAD to get right) was bland and not cooked well. The wait staff, which I had heard only good things about, were all-American and too busy to do more than ask for my order; not a kind word or smile from any of them. I was hoping for a bit of a home away from home, but this definitely wasn't it. I highly doubt I'll go here again.

Kitty O'Sheas will be packed during the 2008 Chicago Cubs Convention January 18-20 at the Hilton. Come toast the Cubs, and have a few drinks with Lou P. and the gang! GO CUBS! HOLY COW!

My group was in Chicago last 4th of July weekend. We all agreed that our time at Kitty O'Sheas was the best part of the entire weekend. The waitstaff was outstanding, can I specifically name Colin and Jamie. Everytime we went into this lovely place it felt like home. Hugs and everything. We all want to go back and this will be first place we will be. An Irish Cheers!

I have spent a lot of years visiting Kitty O'Shea's and because of the professionalism of Eamonn Brady's staff including Derval, Declan, Ronan, and Margaret to name a few, this trip was one of the most pleasent. I spend half the year in Ireland and must say it is better there in Chicago. Good work. Slainte!

To the fellow opening an Irish Pub in Dallas. It's hard to find a good one hear, they had one that could have made it across from the hard rock cafe. They began to play celtic music (irish pub) and did well, then they wanted the crowd from Hard rock, and began playing rock music. they went under!!!! As a born and raised TEXAN you have to give these people the food, theme, music to match or they don't come. Hardest city in the nation to make a restaurant work. Good Luck
