We were in there for the Bears game yesterday. Cool bar with 'local joint' feeling to it (no hype). Good beer selection and burgers are great. Pretty nice staff too. All in all a hearty 'thumbs up' from me and my friends.

How exciting to learn jp's was under new management...how disappointing to see not much has changed except menu you can't read and don't really care to order from! You're lucky to get waited on at bar if bartender has friends or co-workers within earshot!

j. petermans, jp's, patty pats is a solid spot to drink excessively. only recommended if you're new to or from the neighborhood. good deals on sunday. it is what it is.

Great place since old owner has been ousted. Awesome new menu too - the Bison Burger one of the best I have ever had. A+

What an awesome place. We "discovered" J. Patrick's en route to the United Center. Great burger and the a perfect Guinness pour. We will back many more times once Bulls season starts - if not before! A+

J. Patricks has improved 100% since the new ownership took over. The new management clearly cares about its food, its service and its customers. Once again I feel at home here.

It has been a loooong time coming... Since July of this year this place has (finally) done a complete 180 when it replaced the previous owner & manager. My wife and I noticed it right away. There are now actually good daily specials and the staff and appearance is now more professional - and upbeat. In short, the overall experience is drastically better - like it used to be years ago. WELCOME BACK JP's!

For a neighborhood pub, this place is awful! Service and food was terrible and it was incredibly loud, I liked the atmosphere (without the overbearing music) and beer.
