Indian Garden is excellent - Not sure what you people are smoking, but India House is NO COMPARISON! If you try their food, just like a previous reviewer stated, you'll be spoiled and every other indian place will be a "crap" restaurant compared to the food here. Some may complain about the service, but let's be honest here, no Indian restaurant has good service. Now I'm not saying we should just accept that, but people are people, and yes waiters have worse days than others as well. Bottom line is that you're looking for the best indian food, in Chicago or the burbs, head out to Indian Garden. Just my .02!

one of the best indian restaurants i've been to! i highly recommend everything on the menu. tastes like homemade indian food - if there is ever a restaurant to try indian food for the first time - this is your best bet. the only problem is that once you've had their food, you won't like any other indian restaurant in chicago. also ask for Imran to serve you - he's the one who knows it all!

I went to the restaurant with my husband. The service was very slow as there were very less no. of employees. I was shocked when one of the waiters told that they are not given tips. So we did not leave the tip. I recommend u ppl also NOT TO GIVE TIPS as this belongs to waiter by law.

I went to restaurant with my friends. There were very few people working there. Only one buzzboy was working. And it took 30 mins to waiter to come to us to take our order. And you can imagine the time taken by the food to be served on our table. we asked for naan in between of our food but everybody was running to take new customers, nobody was cared about already sitting customers. The service was really very bad.

lunch was ok but dinner was not that good service was bad and one of the waiter may be mexican was so attitude anyways i wont recommend it

STAY AWAY! We ordered catering from Indian Garden for a party of 40. They delayed delivery by 1 hour and it was embarrassing that all our guests had to wait. Then we found that the nan was stale, probably cooked 1-2 days prior and stored. Maybe it was leftover from the previous day. I would strongly recommend not depending on these people with poor work ethics.

Many of us from work used to go for lunch once in awhile. It was okay. However, I brought a group of students for dinner there, and the service was absolutely awful. The waiters didn't seem interested in serving us, asking us for our orders, and were NOT attentive to us at all. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place for dinner. The food is mediocre and just okay for lunch. Too Bad. It's a shame. India House in Grand --- is much, much better!!!!

We order delivery. I am absolutely in love with their tandoori cubed chicken. It is so tender, every time! Am a little miffed that rice costs $3 but I hear other places charge more. My husband also loves the curry chicken.

My visit to the Grand Reopening of the Indian Garden Restaurant was extremely pleasant. Right away the aroma of sweet spice and gentle flowers invade you as you walk in. I enjoyed every minute of my meal. This restaturant is the best in the area for impressing your best friend to your best client. The service is impeccable and always with a sincere smile. CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome back to the neighborhood.

Visited the Westmont location and was pleased with the service. The food arrived very quickly and the staff was pleasant.
