WOWW this place sucks! I went on thursday and it was the worst bar experience in my life. its supposed to be 21 and up but everyone i saw there looked like they were 16! and the dance floor was way too crowded and smelled like BO and the floor was so sticky that my shoes stuck to it. There was a guy with the DJ with a mic who kept yelling out you "F***ing hands up" every 2 seconds... so annoying...and everyone of these kids was grinding like no tomorrow and making out like crazy.. dude get a room people, and then the up stairs opened so we figured it would be better to go up there so we did but then the bar got raided and about 90% of the kids just ran out bc they were underage, after all the little kids left it was better, but still disgusting. the drinks were super weak and bartenders really slow and bad. its definitely not a place i will ever go again and the only reason we stayed as long as we did was because a few of our friends paid 30 for a wristband....wooww this place was an experience i do not want to relive

I went to Goodbar last weekend for a friends birthday party and had a blast! The crowd was all good looking, well dressed, and fun. I couldn't believe that I was in Lincoln Park. The DJ was awesome he was playing music videos. I even asked him how he was doing that and he let me hang out for a bit. I was amazed! The staff was friendly and the drinks weren't watered down like every other bar in Chicago.
I'll definitely be back!

Was there Thursday and I had a good time. This is coming from someone who isn't a club/bar head. I will be back next Thursday. $5 at the door and $2 domestic beer. Nice looking chicks and the bouncers are pretty cool.
It was a private party upstairs so I didn't get to see up there. Only bad part is guys can't dance on the poles with the girls...even when they pull you up there!

I LOVED THIS SPOT! WARM,COZY AND ROMANTIC. GREAT AMBIANCE. NICELY AND ORIGINALLY DESIGNED WITH THE DARK COLORS AND CANDLELIGHTING.VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND DARE I SAY GORGEOUS WAITRESSES. KILLER DRINKS AT REASONABLE PRICES, FOOD WAS GREAT. MY DATE LOVED THE GOOD BAR, AND IT MADE FOR QUITE A GOOD NIGHT FOR ME!

I wonder if the owner of Goodbar realizes that he does not own an exclusive bar in LA but a shithole in Lincoln Park. The overgrown gorilla standing at the door should realize that telling people to "get the F!*&@ out" is not the best way to greet people at the door... Not worth going... Rude staff...

There is nothing unique about this bar. I would not recommend it to others. It is a dive bar trying to not to be. Average Lincoln Park crowd

The bartender who works on Friday nights up front is soooo Hot! The crowd on Thursdays is a little too young.
