Food isn't very flavorful, but it's $5 for a deep dish personal cheese pizza, so I count that as cheep downtown. Pasta dishes are decently sized for $8, but again, not very flavorful.

No, it's not closed. I ate there in early June '05 with 14 coworkers.
Their large oven was broken, but they did their best to make it up to us by serving us individual deep dish pizzas (which don't take too long to make compared to the big ones) and didn't charge us a penny more than we would have paid getting several large pizzas.

This IS the best pizza I've ever had...bottom line! I eat there everytime I'm in Chicago.
