Service sucks, beer is expensive, and food sucks. Irish breakfast is a grease pit just like the soggy fries. If you want processed, sodium-infused bar food - GAH is the place to go. I like O'Donovans on Irving Park Road for an Irish bar setting. Kuma's Corner is decent too . . . Delicious bbq pulled pork sandwhich on a toasted pretzel bun. You be the judge - but you won't find it at Ginger's/,. PLUS IT'S ALWAYS SO DEAD!

Stopped in there by chance last Sunday, they had a Pub Quiz going on that was awesome. Had a great time and will be back. Understand its every Sunday at 8.

This place is a well kept Lakeview secret. I got more than I expected from the menu - besides bar fare and Irish Favorites, they have awesome comfort food - We had the meatloaf and chicken pot pie and both were better than any of the other pubs in the Southport corridor. Also, the only place we found in the area not obsessed with the Cubs - soccer and rugby on the other hand, maybe.
