Taking a friend's adivce, I went to Atmosphere while I was on a vacation in Chicago. What a great bar! The people were friendly, the music and dancing were great, and the staff was courteous and helpful. I immediately felt at home and will definitely consider Atmosphere to be 'my' bar whenever I am in Chicago.

this is, quite simply, a really cool bar. there's a little raised area at the front of the bar, where they'll open the tall front windows for some air. there's enough room in front of the dj booth for a small live performance and enough room to have a crowd.
i wouldn't call this place a gay bar per se. so what if i got hit on at this place? the ladies can't help themselves, it's not the brothers fault that i'm damn sexy.
it's a lively little neighborhood club and the owners are _really_ cool. i've been there a few times when they let people collect a cover charge/donation for fundraising, and even went to a going away party there.
and just to make me like the place that much more, they had a gameboy sp ad right by the front door. wow. thanks for promoting and legitimizing my social stigma. one day, us video gamers will be able to emerge into the open sunlight and get farmers tans.
