Friendship restaurant is the worst chinese restaurant I've ever experienced. The service is horible, the food is worst and they don't tell you that there are no free refills instead they just charge you an additional $2.00 per beverage. The food is bland with little to no taste and the staff was eating while customers waited for thier food. Way over priced. Will never repeat.

Not bad, but...WAY overpriced for the quality of food. This was our first time ordering from Friendship & while we thought it was a little pricey for delivery chinese while looking at the menu, we thought if it was really spectacular it would be worth it. But, it just wasn't. Our crab rangoon was oddly salty - we later realized it was the dipping sauce that was oversalted. We ordered bbq pork fried rice & were mistakenly given combo, which was good, but not spectacular. The walnut shrimp was one standout dish that we really enjoyed. Buddha's delight (a combo of stir-fried veggies) was again good, but not great. Considering that including a $4 tip our bill was $50 I think we'll stick with our usual Manee Thai for an asian food fix...better quality, more variety & for $50 you can basically have a feast.

Frienship Chinese is probably the worst chinese food I have ever had. The company I work for orders from there when we work overtime. I can't imagine actually paying for this food. It's not even a good deal when it is free! I have tried several of the menu items and all of them were disgusting. It tastes like old left overs that have been in the fridge for too long. The chicken and beef seem to be very low quality, and taste like the meal was marinated in dumpster juice. The last item I tried on the menu was chicken fried rice. After being dissappointed with every other menu item I had tried, I figured the fried rice might actually be good. I was wrong. It was awful. I am boycotting this place and will never eat there again.

I have lived in the Logan Square Are for 32 years. I have also eaten Chinese food from New York to L.A. and let me tell you that Friendship is JUST OKAY - BUT THEIR PRICES ARE TO EXPENSIVE.

A little overpriced and overrated. The flavors are unique, certainly, but not always executed very well. The crab and corn soup was crap. My XO brandy beef wasn't bad, but for the money that Friendship charges, I'd expect more than "not bad."

Friendship is a gem. Loved the Mongolian Beef and my son loved the Spicy Lollipops. The owner was hospitable and helpful. Will visit again and again. Have recommended to several friends already.

Wonderful. Best Chinese I've had in Chicago. The eggplant and tofu dish is amazing. Good for vegetarians like myself and carnivores like my family.

Best chinese food I ever had. Although everything on the menu is delicious, the "Pepper Steak" stands out. Delivery is quick.

A splendid gem on the fringe of Logan Square, sometimes the neigbhorhood seems undeserving of a restaurant the caliber of Friendship Chinese Restaurant. It is a dining experience, an often worn cliche that only rings true with this place. From the well designed exterior to the finely tuned interior, it really is an experience. The cuisine is fabolous and delights all the senses of sight, taste, and feel. The menu runs two pages unlike the phonebook sized menus of Chinatown. All the classic Chinese dishes are there plus a few pleasant surprises. The wait staff is also a surprise, all Polish adorning Mandarin style outfits. Wondreful cuisine and a wonderful time.
