I have been to this restaurant several times both in Wheeling,Il and Columbus,Oh. I can honestly say that the service sucks at both! I would never go back to either since my experience was rude rude rude help!

There's a lot to love at the 94th Aero Squadron nightclub if you live in the N/NW suburbs and love to dance. You'll find a real mix of ages, and you won't feel at all out of place if you're over 40 or even over 50. The DJ spins a mix of disco and more modern stuff. The drinks are reasonably priced, as is the cover charge ($7). And, best of all, people head onto the dance floor between 9:30 and 10 pm, so if you're not a 2 am clubber anymore, you can still have fun for hours. You'll find people here from all backgrounds, including American, Eastern European and more. Oh, they also sometimes provide a complimentary snack bar around midnight. It's a great place to come alone or with friends -- Saturday nights are generally more hoppin' than Fridays, so keep that in mind.

I love this resturaunt. I've been to the ones in Columbus, OH and St. Louis MO. I can't tell you how happy it made me to find one here.

The food is fabulous and the atmosphere is great. Too many youngsters think it's a night club though. The bathrooms would not be disgusting if the people who use it were not.

I go there for dancing and it's always crowded with a fun and friendly crowd. They have a singles night on Sundays that also has a full buffet for free! I hear the Sunday brunch is great but I've never tried it. A friend told me it was good. Very unique atmosphere and decor. You can watch the charter jets take off from the adjoining airport. There's so few places for dancing, this is one of them.

We went to the 94th as a birthday treat for my fiancee. It was a saturday night. We loved the atmosphere, the food was great. The prices reasonable. We would definitely go back. Most of the reviews I read here refer to Fathers Day and Valentines Day. Hello People! Every restaurant has delays on holidays. That's why we never go on those days. REally, the place was great. A little dated in the bar, as it seemed the people from the 70s who used to hang out were still there!

My experience at 94th Aero Squadron in Wheeling today was one of the worst dining experiences I ever had.

The restaraunt staff was very rude and unprofessional. They ran around in a mad frenzy knocking into customers as if they could not handle the crowd. There was also not enough staff working to handle a Father's Day crowd. One poor chef was expected to handle the omelet line and carving station alone. This made the line so long, I avoided the long wait for the omelet I would have normally ordered. Selections at the buffet would sit empty up to 20 minutes because the one person filling it could not keep up. When we went for desert, we had to wait because there were 8 empty platters at the desert table. We even saw the plates for the buffet run out 3 times and this again created unnecessary delays. As for the food itself, when it was actually available, it was awful. The crab legs tasted like they were soaked in a pot of water. The shrimp tasted as though they were left out from the night before. I also had no idea what food was available because of the numerous containers that constantly sat empty.

Apparently no one was cleaning up anywhere either. There was food, empty juice cups, and silverware all over the floor. The bathrooms were rather unsanitary with towels all over the floor and sink area.

Hopefully this was just a bad day, but I certainly will not spend my money again to find out.

We flew to the aero squadron 18 years ago for the first time. It was the night I asked my wife to marry me. I did it at the dinner table. Now we go each year on our anniversary (but we drive). The food was great back then, but as the years passed by we saw a slow decline in the quality. I will never go there for their brunch, its rude. But dinner is ok not great, but ok. We like the theme and the ambience. The prices are low; it's a fun place.
