It's an OK enough place if you're young enough to not mind standing for three hours. There are no chairs or stools other than at the bar or in the pool room - and it's impossible to hear the music in the pool room.
The layout is very odd. The stage is in one corner of an L-shaped room. And it's not a very easy club to get to via the CTA - the Western bus from either the Brown or Blue line's Western stops. But at least the Western bus line is 24 hour.
On the plus side, the beer is cheap (especially compared to the Park West!) But we're not exactly going to go out of our way to see shows there in the future. My wife and I moved to Chicago specifically for the music scene, and have been to four shows in the past two weeks, so this isn't some lame threat.
