I've eaten at every Mexican restaurant, taco joint and late night burrito place in the city, and El Presidente is The President! The carne asada burrito suizo is the best burrito I've ever eaten...make sure to use plenty of the red chile d'arbol salsa along with the pico.

This is a Mexican food restaurant NOT a Cuban food restaurant as www.tasteofcuba.com tries to pass this off as. They do not serve Cuban food here. However, the Mexican food at El Presidente is excellent.

This place is terrible. Overpriced, underwhelming and served by grouches. If you don't like customers, why go in to the restaurant business?

Thank goodness the Taco Burrito House is opened again after remodeling. They crush El Presidente every time.

My friend and I visited your Supulveda location today 1-29-04 at 430pm. It was a very disappointing visit , there was no tequilla in the margarita and I took it to the bar and told the bartender , he was extremely rude and said I would have to pay for more and see his manager . I said I'd do both . He then sold me a genaric version of tequilla for $3.50 for a short shot and was very very rude to me . I asked how much Casa Dores would be he said $7.00 a shot , so I took that bad genaric shot . When I returned to table VERY upset my date and I waited for manager ....he arrived and he was RUDE as well. He obviously did not care nor did he want our business therefore we cancelled our food orders and they gave us a bill for the bad margarita and a glass of white wine and a cup of abondagus soup it was 15.75 for us to be upset and drive back to Lancaster to eat elsewhere . I will never eat at an El Presidente again and I will tell everyone I know about this experience . I manage a restaurant and I was amazed at the lack of customer service at your location and being charged so much for 1 white wine , 1 unsatisfactory margaita and one CUP of soup , and received NO apology from the manager .... very very poor customer service .I hope to hear from you regarding this as it ruined our entire night out.
