I've been to the Chicago Chop House, Smith and Wollensky's, Sullivan's, as well as other popular steak houses, and I can honestly tell you without a doubt that this restaurant is truly a gem. Who would have thought this little Italian restaurant could make a filet mignon so succulent, tender, and seared to perfection. I took a chance and it was worth it. Who says you have to leave Highland Park for a great steak.

Honestly this place is so far removed from italian food. If you have been to Italy you know this place is just no good.

NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL ITALIAN FOOD! I always travel for business, and I have eaten all over the world. I was there Sunday night with my family, and I can tell you I will certainly be back. This was my first time there. My daughters were raving about the place so I decided to see for myself. They were right. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Putting that aside, the food was incredible. We started with their calamari. BEST EVER!! It wasn't rubbery or soggy like most restaurants. Then we had the stuffed egglplant. I ordered the veal for dinner and my wife had the orrichette con braciole (sorry about the spelling). My daughters both ordered pizza. Of course we sampled everyone's plate...We'll definitely be back.

We ate there last night for the first time. The food was fabulous!!! I had an eggplant appetizer with a touch of pesto... I considered having three more instead of a regular dinner. My wife had the tilapia, and said it was the best she ever had in her life. The prices were very reasonable, and the house Chianti was another bargain. We highly recommend this restaurant.
